Prodia Successfully Achieved Net Profit of IDR 159.8 Billion in Semester I of 2022 With Digital Transformation
The statement of financial position in the first semester of 2022 recorded the Company's total current assets of Rp 1,474.7 billion with total non-current assets of Rp 972.1 billion.

JAKARTA, 29 July 2022 – PT Prodia Widyahusada, Tbk. (stock code: PRDA) achieved positive financial performance for the first semester of this year with the Company's net profit of Rp 159.8 billion. This performance was supported by sales figure of Rp 1,037.0 billion and operating profit of Rp 188.8 billion. This optimal performance is carried out because of the optimal work of all Insan Prodia and the innovation strategies carried out, including the implementation of digital transformation.
The statement of financial position in the first semester of 2022 recorded the Company's total current assets of Rp 1,474.7 billion with total non-current assets of Rp 972.1 billion. Therefore, compared to the position of the Financial Statements as of December 31, 2021, the total assets of the Company were recorded at Rp 2,446.8 billion, a slight decrease of 10.0%. Meanwhile, total short-term liabilities were recorded at Rp 203.8 billion, and long-term liabilities were recorded at Rp 199.8 billion, bringing the Company's total liabilities to a correction to Rp 403.6 billion. Total equity was recorded at Rp 2,043.1 billion, bringing the Company's total liabilities and equity to a correction of Rp 2,446.8 billion.
In the first semester of 2022, the corrected revenue was accompanied by a relatively stable cost of goods compared to last year, resulting in the Company's gross profit of Rp 627.2 billion. The Company's operating expenses in the first semester of 2022 increased to Rp 439.2 billion so that the Company's operating profit was recorded at Rp 188.8 billion. The Company's income tax expense decreased to Rp 41.5 billion, therefore, the Company's net profit earned in the first semester of 2022 was recorded at Rp 159.8 billion. The company still has a solid performance, although there have been some normalizations in performance this year.
The cash flow statement for the first semester of 2022 recorded operating activities of Rp 165.0 billion and cash flow from investing activities of Rp 40.1 billion. Cash flow from financing activities increased to negative Rp 374.3 billion when compared to the first semester of 2021, which was negative Rp 165.0 billion. Therefore, the Company's cash and cash equivalents in the first semester of 2022 were recorded at Rp 438.7 billion, higher than the cash and cash equivalents in the first semester of 2021 which amounted to Rp 473.3 billion. The Company's financial position is still very healthy and strong to finance the Company's business and operational activities until the end of the 2022 financial year.

To support the Company's performance, Prodia continues to encourage the implementation of Digital Transformation, such as the development of Prodia Mobile App which is now equipped with Home Service, which also supports the performance of the first semester of 2022. The Company recorded a significant increase of around 188.4% of Prodia Mobile App downloaders compared to the previous year. Total Mobile App revenue increased by 245.1% in line with the increase in the number of orders via Mobile App by 244.6%. The Home Service also recorded a very good performance with a revenue growth of 101.9% and a growth in the number of visits by 129.9% in this first semester of 2022.
